5.1. Client Software Features

Each system that will be managed within the Configuration Manager infrastructure must have a client installed. The client software provides the interaction between the Configuration Manager Site systems and the client device. In essence, the client software is made up of multiple programs, called agents, that can be enabled or disabled depending on the needs of the site. The agents that are present within the Configuration Manager client, shown in Figure 5.1, include the following:
