Summary

In this chapter, we looked at using exposed JavaScript APIs and the well-used GlideRecord class. We also looked at server-side and client-side Glide classes and the properties and methods of each that can be used to enhance your scripting. Finally, we looked at some more complex examples of scripting, combining these properties and methods to show what can be achieved and how the properties and methods can be used together.

In the next chapter, we will explore the basics of client-side scripting. We will look at client scripts, UI policies, when to use these scripts, and how to test them. Plus we'll add some helpful examples to show some great ways to get the most out of client-side scripting.
