Session debug

ServiceNow also provides some server-side debugger assistance in the form of session debugging. These are mainly listed as modules in the System Diagnostics application, but there is also security debugging available in the System Security application.

By clicking on these modules, you activate the debugging for that particular area; for example, business rules. This lasts for the session, or until you turn the debugging off by using the Disable All module.

I have found that these modules can be useful, mainly for the security rule debugging, but are not generally comprehensively used by developers.
