System scheduler

One of the most common ways that you can add a job to the system scheduler is to use an async business rule. Once an async business rule is triggered, it sends a job to the scheduler queue to run the script contained within it.

It is also possible to add your own jobs to the system scheduler. It is best to only do this where necessary, as too many jobs in the scheduler can be a detriment to instance performance.
