In anything more than the simplest of QlikView applications, the script is where we spend a very large percentage of our development time.
When we discussed the performance tuning of our applications (Chapter 1, Performance Tuning and Scalability), we discussed that almost all of the effort to make our applications more efficient and to consume less memory will be made in the script.
