Summary

This chapter provided steps and examples showing how to prepare raster data for further processing. This chapter covered common raster operations such as reclassification, resampling, rescaling, mosaicking, interpolation, and so on. Many of the tools shown in this chapter rely on GDAL to perform the calculations, while others are included as part of plugins or QGIS. Where applicable, alternative tools were noted in information boxes, as different tools may provide different functionality or parameters.
