The topic of network latency can sometimes be subjective. Working as a network engineer, we are often faced with the user saying that the network is slow. However, slow is a very subjective term. If we could construct tests that turn subjective terms into objective values, it would be very helpful. We should do this consistently so that we can compare the values over a time series of data.
