Speaking Venues That Can Generate More Clients and Credibility

Now that you have an awesome presentation and you can create new and customized presentations on the fly in minutes versus hours or days, where do you go to speak? Following are 10 different speaking venues that will allow you to get additional practice speaking in front of groups and also generate new customers and clients along the way. When you are just starting out, choose a venue where the risk is low; then as you start to experience success delivering these presentations, increase your risk and the rewards will increase as well. The venues are listed based on their risk, so in your early stages, focus more time on the first few venues. As you get better and better, move down the list for a new challenge and bigger reward.

SOCIAL CLUBS, CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, LIBRARIES, AND RECREATION CENTERS

These are the absolute easiest groups to appear before if you have information that is valuable to the members or customers. They are great locations to practice your presentations, but you aren’t likely to generate a lot of customers from the groups. However, because influential people are often members of some of these organizations, the members may open doors to get you into a better speaking venue.
