2 Editing Images Using Adjustment Layers

Adjustment layers enable us to make a wide rage of corrections to precisely define tonal values or color areas. These corrections are (initially) virtual and are not applied directly to the image data, making it possible to alter them at any stage, right up to the moment you merge the layers and apply your changes to the pixels that make up the original image. Adjustment layers are a wonderful editing tool and allow us to edit our photos completely non-destructively.
