Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to integrate OpenVPN into your existing network and computer infrastructure. This applies to the server side. We also saw how to use LDAP as a backend authentication system, and how to use policy-based routing to seamlessly integrate the VPN offered by OpenVPN into the regular network. On the client side, we addressed the integration of OpenVPN in to the Windows operating system, as well as a scenario where the OpenVPN server cannot be contacted directly.
