The Show or Hide Options setting

Change can be overwhelming and sometimes it is necessary to ease your users in by giving them a few options. The Show or Hide Options setting can be used to hide the OneDrive for Business and SharePoint tiles so that it doesn't appear on your user's app launcher, also known as the waffle. In order to turn off tiles in the waffle, you need to turn off your user's license.

You can do so in the Office 365 admin center (see the following screenshot) or by using PowerShell:
