Sensitive information types

The last section of Classifications lists the available types, which we saw earlier when looking through labeling policy templates. This list is basically display-only, but it is possible to add your own types to the list.

The creation of custom-sensitive information types is a very advanced topic, so going into detail is beyond the scope of this book. If you choose to do so, you will need the following skills:

  • Business knowledge of search criteria and document classification strategies
  • XML
  • Regular expressions (RegEx)
  • PowerShell commands to upload the custom type to Office 365
