The user profiles option

There may be times where you have an external user who has issues accessing the system and may need to be kicked out then invited back in. This is a very real case where you may need to ensure that they are fully removed from the system and that is where this section will come into play. You would perform the following tasks:

  1. In your SharePoint environment, remove that user from the SharePoint permissions groups or items that they received access to. Make sure all instances are deleted.
  2. Come to this section in the SharePoint admin center, go to Manage User Profiles, then search for the user and delete the user. Make sure all instances are deleted.
