Out of the box, Office 365 includes 10 alert policies, but you can always add more to suit your needs. Existing alerts can also be searched, sorted, and filtered for manageability.
Here's a summary of the default alerts, by severity:

- Mails have been delayed: This is triggered when Office 365 is unable to deliver mail to a connected mail server, such as Exchange or a partnered SMTP server, for an extended period.
- Malware campaign detected after delivery: This is triggered when a malware campaign has been detected and intercepted after delivery to a user's inbox. You should respond to ensure that the user did not open the mail or suffer any ill effects from it.
