An active-active data center for application hosting
Citrix NetScaler has support for active/active data centers for the purpose of application hosting. The active/active solution can be done in two different ways depending on the WAN connection.
An active/active data center solution for application hosting can be done by using global server load balancing or the Citrix NetScaler clustering feature. For both features, the Enterprise license is required.
During implementation, we need to define which feature suits the best for the company. If the company has only one Internet link for both data centers, then probably global server load balancing won't help with anything.
