Summary

In this chapter, we learned about the usage of emulators and simulators for automation. We saw how to set up mobile emulators, which are often thought of as the trickiest part in mobile automation. We then learned about the most commonly used automation tools and support frameworks. The code snippets in this chapter also came in handy while we learned how to work with real devices.

With the implementation of an automation framework like Appium, we have been able to learn the nuances of mobile automation with emulators.
