To successfully establish network connectivity, you must have a properly installed and configured network interface card (NIC) and network protocol. The first step is to physically install and configure the network adapter that you will use and verify that Windows 7 recognizes the hardware. The installation of the hardware might go smoothly, but you need to be able to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
