13.2. Configuring an RD Connection Broker for RD Session Host

We will be installing an RD Connection Broker and other required components into the RDS environment you set up in the previous chapters. In all, you will need to set up an additional RD Session Host server for a minimum of two RD Session Host servers and a server to support the RD Connection Broker functionality. We require at least two RD Session host servers so that we can implement load balancing across multiple hosts. The RD Connection Broker server is a role service and is available in the Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter editions of the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 product.
