Planning storage on your host

The Hyper-V host platform supports all the storage options that are supported by the Windows Server 2008 platform. This means that USB, IDE, SATA, SAS, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI disks are all available for use by the host. This provides a significant amount of flexibility in storage options for your host environment.
