Mobility

Mobility has very much been a buzzword in the last few years, especially since the launch of the iPhone and the various “app” stores that have the ability to make your mobile phone be so much more than just a phone device.

The early days had texting; then the next big development was the BlackBerry, providing very usable email on the go. Then came the iPhone, and finally we're seeing tablets. With tablets, the first to have mass uptake in the consumer market was Apple with the iPad. The iPad was then joined by the Android versions and more recently Windows 8. In between, we had variations and attempts to add additional functionality to each device with varying degrees of success.
