Finishing an image with materials

To wrap this chapter up, I thought I would show the process of creating an illustration using as many different materials as I could. The first step, of course, was to come up with the pose and make a sketch. I used the custom sketching pencil that we made back in Chapter 2, The Right Tools for the Job. The canvas that was used is 11 inches by 8.5 inches and 350 dpi.

The sketch layer was then changed to a draft layer so that the lines turn blue. The custom Ink brush—also discussed in Chapter 2, The Right Tools for the Job, was then used on another layer to finalize the lines.
