Summary
So this concludes our whirlwind tour and the introduction to Perl. We have seen the similarities with bash, as well as, the new features and differences. The main points to take from this are that once you become proficient in one language it becomes easier to learn other coding languages.
To keep us in the mood of learning new languages, we will now take a quick tour of Python in the next chapter.
