In this chapter, we have extensively covered how to configure log events produced by the application server and the application installed on it. We have provided some initial background on the default configuration, then we have covered advanced features such as custom loggers and producing log data to a centralized system.

The next chapter will cover another key subsystem: the configuration of database connectivity.
