ROLE OF QUANTITATIVE ANALYTICS

The quantitative analytics team (also known as ‘quants’) is the crucial part of the investment bank front office. They are highly educated individuals who typically hold PhDs in maths and physics, whose job is the creation of complex mathematical models used for pricing existing and innovative financial instruments.
