An Alternative Project Plan
As was stated earlier, there is no right project plan. What you use will depend on your organization. The previous project plan is very much a waterfall approach, being almost sequential. A larger organization that has more staff available for the project may want to adopt a project plan where more progress can be made earlier in the endeavor. You can see an example of this in Figure 3.3.
This plan would be appropriate for organizations that want to deploy the systems management solutions at the start of the project.
