Planning the Hardware Deployment
During the assessment, as you saw in Chapter 4, you gathered information about candidate machines for virtualization. That data was used to identify the servers that will be converted into virtual machines and will run on your new infrastructure. The sizing of the new infrastructure will be based on the data you collected during the assessment.
There is a dizzying array of hardware options available to the buyer of a new hardware virtualization infrastructure.
