The Project Plan
The most important part of any project is the plan. Without any organization, even a modest project is subject to greater risks. It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that a hardware virtualization deployment project will be a quick and simple one. Even in a green-field site, there are a lot of components to consider. The virtualization engineers and administrators will need to consider servers, storage, networking, security, and future maintenance. Imagine an existing infrastructure being virtualized!
