A final example of an extreme dynamic range scene with three different renderings starts with these six exposures in a boatyard machine shop (Figure 5.25). Here the interior is very dark; there are no splashes of light, but we look out at a bright sunlight exterior and somehow we have to balance both in a way that makes visual sense and still conveys the quality of light.
