Chapter 8. Elasticsearch Administration
In the last chapter, we went through various scoring algorithms provided by Apache Lucene, altering them and choosing the right one for the required use case along with Elasticsearch store module. We also discussed NRT searching and indexing and the role of transaction logs. After that we looked into how segment merging works and what are all the possible ways to control the merge process for an improved performance.
