Penny Davenport is the global Managing Director for Markit Document Exchange, an online secure repository and distribution platform for new account opening and Know-Your-Customer documentation. Penny joined Markit Group as its 25th employee in 2003 to build the Reference Entity Database (Markit RED) into a market standard. The roll-out of this data standard was a major contributor to the incredible Markit story and today the company has 1,600 employees in offices all around the world.
