Chapter 24. Decisions: Designing a Data-Modeling Notation
This chapter compares decisions we made while designing the LDS technique and notation with decisions made by the designers of other techniques and notations for data modeling. We present these decisions as a series of answers to specific questions. The differences among various data-modeling notations and techniques stem from the different answers chosen by their respective designers.
