Chapter 23. LDS for LDS

If you’ve made it this far, you have signaled your determination to become a member of the culture of data modelers. Because that culture is like any other, we can make an LDS articulating the kinds of things its members want to remember.

The Meta-LDS

Recall Chapter 3, “Reading an LDS with Sentences.” It introduced most of the fundamental concepts of LDS in a particular order. We will build up an LDS for the culture of data modelers in the same order. This LDS will contain names that by now are familiar to you, names like relationship, link, attribute, descriptor, identifier, and entity.
