Summary

This was an extensive chapter; we covered a lot. We built and styled our menu. You learned about pseudo classes and how we can use them to target elements based on their position in the HTML. We familiarized ourselves with positioning properties, using absolute positioning for our shark icon. We built a dropdown for our menu and added animations to it. We explored animation properties, such as animation delay, iteration count, and fill-mode, and applied them to our shark icon. We finished off by finalizing the nav, fixing the z-index issue, and completing our design using the box-shadow property. In the next chapter, we'll look at one of my favorite subjects, responsive web design, as we get this site ready for varying device sizes. ...
