Summary
This chapter started with the introduction of alternative blockchains and is divided into two main sections discussing blockchains and platforms. Blockchain technology is a very thriving area, as such changes are quite rapid in existing solutions and new relevant technologies or tools are being introduced almost every day. In this chapter, a careful selection of platforms and blockchains was discussed. Several solutions were discussed that complement material covered in previous chapters, for example, BlockApps, which supports Ethereum development.
