Understanding Worksharing Basics
Worksharing in Revit refers to the use of worksets to divide a model for the purpose of sharing the workload among multiple people. A workset is a collection of building elements and components (building skin; core; interior walls; furniture, fixtures, and equipment; and so on) that can be used to manage project responsibilities. By associating these various building components with sets (worksets), the design team has additional control over visibility and element ownership, and several people can collaborate and work within the same file.
