The purpose for putting information into the components that you use to build your Revit MEP models is so that you can use that data to confirm the integrity of your design and improve coordination. The computable data in a Revit MEP model is dependent on the systems that you establish. Revit MEP recognizes many types of systems for air flow and piping. For electrical, the systems are the types of circuits you create to establish the relationship between a fixture or device and its associated equipment.
