Summary

In this chapter, we have examined what makes a website mobile. We looked at the requirements for a mobile application, in screen real estate, functionality, and bandwidth. We looked at the ArcGIS compact build to use on mobile applications. We also modified an existing application previously formatted for desktop use, and made it mobile-ready.

In the next chapter, we'll investigate how to write testable code using test-driven development.
