Summary
In this chapter, we've discussed the different ways in which you can style your ArcGIS JavaScript API application. We looked at how CSS works, how rules affect each other, and how your browser decides which CSS rules to follow. We looked at the Dojo layout modules, and how those can be used to handle the appearance and functionality of your application. We also looked at ESRI-Bootstrap, a version of Bootstrap that can run with the ArcGIS JavaScript API. Finally, we added the ESRI-Bootstrap look to our application.
In the next chapter, we'll be going mobile. We'll create a mobile application that works on most tablets and phone browsers.
