Summary
In this chapter, we focused on Maven archetypes. Maven archetypes provide a way of reducing repetitive work in building Maven projects. There are thousands of archetypes out there available publicly to assist you build different types of projects. This chapter covered a commonly used set of archetypes and later discussed how to develop your own custom archetypes.
In the next chapter, we will look into Maven repository management with the Nexus repository manager.
