In this chapter, we discussed how to configure Maven at three different levels: global, user, and project. The chapter also focused on introducing best practices while configuring Maven for optimal use. In the next chapter, we will discuss Maven build lifecycles and how to create custom lifecycles and lifecycle extensions.
