There are multiple ways to install InfluxDB based on the operating system. Following is a general RPM installation for CentOS Red Hat; for other flavors of Linux you can refer to the preceding docs. Make sure your server has access to the internet to download and install this RPM:
rpm -ivh https://dl.influxdata.com/influxdb/releases/influxdb-1.6.2.x86_64.rpm
