Within the last year, an open source tool for managing Apache Cassandra repairs has emerged. Its name is Cassandra Reaper, and it can be downloaded from http://cassandra-reaper.io/.
Reaper takes all the guesswork out of running repairs with Apache Cassandra. In the past, repair had to be invoked manually, or via cron jobs that you hope complete on time. Reaper allows you to support many clusters with easily managed repair schedules.
