Adding a new data center

Sometimes, there are reasons to add a new data center to a cluster. New data centers provide an easy means by which to migrate or expand your cluster to a new provider. Typically, development teams ask for their Cassandra cluster to be built on the same provider, region, or data center as their application runs in. This is known as building for data locality. The goal is to provide the shortest possible network trip from the application to the database, and back again.
