Change the Document View

Word offers several ways to display your document. You can choose the view that best suits your needs by clicking the appropriate icon in the lower-right section of your screen.

The Print Layout view is the default view and displays your document, as it would appear on a printed page. It includes top and bottom margins, headers, footers, and page numbers. This view is most appropriate when making formatting changes to the entire document, as shown in this chapter. Print Layout view is a quick and easy alternative to Print Preview.

Full Screen Reading view is for reviewing a long document and not making any changes. It is particularly useful for reading on a notebook.
