Bold, Italicize, and Underline Text

You can use the Bold, Italic, and Underline features to change the style of text in your document. You use these features more than other formatting options to help you emphasize information and enhance the appearance of your document.

You can use one feature at a time or any combination of the three features to change the style of text.

The Bold feature makes text appear darker and thicker than other text. You can bold headings and titles to make them stand out from the rest of the text in your document.

The Italic feature slants text to the right. You may want to italicize quotations and references in your document.
