An Introduction to Word

Microsoft Word 2007 can be used for a lot more than just ordinary documents. Word lets you create brochures, flyers, Web pages, and even blogs, using professional-looking graphics.

Word includes many features, such as templates, building blocks, and themes, to help you create documents. You can save time by saving and reusing common types of documents, such as letters, memos, and reports. You can also outline, change, and update any document. You can move and reassemble blocks of text and graphics, as well as check for spelling and grammar mistakes.
