Insert a Hyperlink with the Insert Panel

Every Web site is made up of a series of related documents that are linked to one another. Many sites also provide links to external sites. When designing your pages, you can create these hyperlinks directly in Dreamweaver.

A hyperlink is made up of two parts. The first part is the clickable content. This is most often a piece of text, but images are often frequently used. The second part is the path to the resource to which you are linking. You can create links to just about anything.

Most of the links on your pages will probably be to other Web pages on your site, but you can also link to other resources such as Adobe PDF files.
