Marketing Research and Competitor Information

General business principles say that a company should have information about its markets and competition when developing a business, sales, marketing, or growth strategy. Yet my experience and SMMs’ responses to the questionnaire show that SMMs do not have good data and information about their markets. The following Tables 44, 45, and 46 summarize companies’ responses to the questionnaire regarding marketing research and knowledge about their markets.
