ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Christie Nordhielm, Ph.D. is a world-renowned marketing educator, coach, consultant, and speaker. She began her career at the top-ranked Marketing Department at the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where, in 2003 she was selected by students in the full-time MBA program as the L.G. Lavengood Outstanding Professor of the Year. She also has served on the Marketing faculty at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, which adopted the Big Picture framework in 2004, and the University of Chicago. In 2005 Professor Nordhielm founded The Big Picture Partners and began implementing the framework with companies internationally. Her clients include GE, American Express, Johnson & Johnson, Sealed Air, Philips, Ecolab, and a number of small- and medium-size companies.

Professor Nordhielm is the author of several articles and the recipient of the Ferber Award for best article based on a dissertation published in the Journal of Consumer Research. She also appears regularly on television and radio and is frequently quoted in the press on a variety of marketing topics. Professor Nordhielm received her Ph.D. and MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
