ABOUT THE AUTHOR

S. Ramesh Kumar is a professor, in the marketing area, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India. He holds a basic degree in electronics and communication engineering. He completed his MBA and Ph.D. from Madras University. He has a mix of industrial and teaching experience of about twenty-five years. His areas of interest include exploring the application of marketing/consumer behaviour concepts in the Indian context. His specific research interests include branding consumer behaviour interface, relationship marketing and combining online and off-line marketing strategies.
